Payments

The first thing to know... We frequently are required to schedule our work based on customer needs. One thing that can alter our shedule is customer payements. As a customer you are generally prioritized on your payment frequency or the scope of the service necessary. The reasoning for this is sound: if a customer has a service to be performed but is having trouble paying for the services performed (deliverables), we would be forced to continue working out of pocket on a job while other customers would be waiting for our services. Please be prepared to pay according to the deliverables and the status information made available to you via logging into CCShops.com or by checking your emails. Paying quickly removes doubt about the customers ability to pay which allows us to proceed without reservation. If the customers decides to use others to perform said services, we try to acknowledge and accept the request. However, we do expect full payment for all material and services rendered and/or performed prior to any other parties involvement. We will bill accordingly and will use the full extent of the law if necessary to get paid for services performed and/or materials purchased to that point in the project. We want and appreciate your business. We also strongly feel that by performing any services and/or purchasing any material with respect to any project it is entirely reasonble to expect payment for such out of pocket time and/or materials.
The second thing to know... Systems projects (Hardware related) are generally billed quickly and payment is expected within 30 days of invoice.

Applications projects (Software/Data related) are generally invoiced in 7 day cycles to allow for projects to continue without waiting for payment. Payment is expected with 7 additional days of invoice. If payment has not been received within the 14 days, the project may be placed on hold and possibly re-prioritized to allow for other customers and/or projects. Applications are different in several ways from Systems projects. One key difference is the way applications are developed. Many applications are developed by beginning an initial project and finding out as the project continues more relevant information is made available which affects the scope and direction of the initial project. Each project is generally separted into smaller projects known as deliverables to allow for project flexibility and ease of payment from the customer point of view and more frequent communiction between both parties. Better communication allows for less chance of misunderstanding at all levels. By periodically loggin on to CCShops.com or checking email status updates the customer will be able to notice the progress, timing, status, and on occaision answer questions critical to each deliverable. Another advantage to the customer is notification of deliverable payments expected. As in almost all scenarios, the less surprises to anyone the better.
The third thing to know... We do our very best to suit our customers requirements. Anytime a customer has a question or is uncertain about something they are encouraged to leave a note, email, or call. We want every customer to be comfortable and satisfied. In order to provide that, the customer must let us know what they are thinking.
The fourth thing to know... The above policies are our rules for operation to help assist our customers. It is possible for exceptions to these rules provided CCShops.com management agrees to written exemption requests provided by the customer and is able to make such exemptions without negative consequence to CCShops.com.

By knowing our policies prior to signed agreement allows the customer a better understanding of what is necesary for both parties to achieve their goals.



Obligations & Deliverables

Obligations As a service provider we are obligated to perform services that you have formally requested and signed for.

As a customer you are obligated to pay us for those services (deliverables) in a timely fashion.

We request that each customer periodically log in to CCShops.com and review project status and comments or respond to emails requesting information or payment. Quite often new information is found requiring answers from the customer for specific questions. In many cases work may be halted until the questions have been answered. Unreasonable delay in providing this information my cause the project to be re-evaluated and possibly re-prioritized without customer knowledge or consent. This provision prevents us from being placed 'on hold' indefinitely allowing us to reroute our resources as needed.

Be sure to sign that you have read, understandand, and agree to the documentation and policies of CCShops.com.

Failure to do so could unexpectedly place your project on 'hold'.

Once billed for a deliverable, you are expected to pay within the expecte time frame. (See Payments).
Deliverables Deliverables are project items performed by our personnel (or third party) which in part or wholly related to the overall project. Deliverables allow for services to be paid for so projects may continue. Deliverables also allow for the customer to understand the pieces of the project as they relate to the whole. Deliverables also allow the service provider (CCShops.com) and the customer flexiblity to change the project. Other advantages are: (1) excluding retainers - the customer pays periodically in smaller amounts as opposed to one larger amount, (2) we (the service provider) receive payment for our services as they are performed allowing for less 'out of pocket' expenses.
Our Goal We do our very best to suit our customers requirements. In order to accomplish this we must prioritize each project depending upon our customers ability (and intent) to pay. It is unfair to paying customers to wait in line for customers that have diffuclty paying. Due to the size of certain projects it is possible, but rare.

We do what we do by getting questions answered first, during, and at the end of each project.

We are all human which means that verbal communications are sometimes wrong at either the source or the receiver and sometimes forgotten by either party. To help minimize (or eliminate) the human imperfection problem we request that when possible email is the better option. Yes it is simpler to communicate by voice but in many cases it can have a terrific price. A little extra effort to use email provides documentation back and forth which in turn provides a much better understanding between both parties.
